Terms of Use
Last updated: July 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Frame is operated by YANGOT Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Fasanenstraße 67i, 82008 Unterhaching, Germany ("we", "us"). Contact: frame@panin.de. By using the Frame app you agree to these terms.
2. What Frame is — and isn't
Frame is an AI coaching app: you submit a dating conversation and receive an AI-generated read of the situation and a suggested next message. Frame is provided for informational purposes.
- Frame is not professional, psychological, medical, or legal advice, and is no substitute for it.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit for your situation. You decide what you actually send, and you are responsible for your own messages and relationships.
- We make no promises about dating outcomes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Frame.
4. Your content and your responsibilities
You retain all rights to the conversations and screenshots you submit. You grant us the limited right to process them solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
When using Frame you agree to:
- only submit conversations you are personally part of;
- not use Frame to harass, stalk, deceive, manipulate, or harm anyone;
- not submit unlawful content or content involving minors;
- not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- not use the service through automated means or resell it.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.
5. Subscriptions and payment
- Frame's features require a paid subscription (e.g. weekly or yearly), purchased as an in-app purchase through your Apple account.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your account at renewal.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel any time in your iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. For EU consumers: statutory withdrawal rights for digital services are handled through Apple as the merchant of record.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change for future periods; changes never apply retroactively to a period you already paid for.
- Fair use: reads are subject to reasonable usage limits to keep the service available for everyone.
6. Anonymous accounts
Frame uses anonymous accounts tied to your app installation. If you delete the app or your data, we cannot restore previous reads or coaching memory. Your subscription remains tied to your Apple account and can be restored via "Restore purchase".
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Frame available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features, and will not do so in a way that deprives you of a paid period without compensation.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content (excluding your submissions) are our property or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Frame and is not responsible for the app or its content, but may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary.
11. Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The EU Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for good reason (e.g. new features or legal requirements). We will post the updated version here and highlight material changes in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
